DAN Foundation has funded 3 microloans
DAN Foundation has selected and funded three microloans introducing from Kiva who is our strategic partner.
Selection's Criteria
• Three borrowers are new borrowers; however the defaulted rate is less 0.1% which is less risk to DANF's lending capital.
• Three borrowers are originated from Thanh Hoa Microfinance Institution who is financial services to rural, low-income women who are economically productive but face major challenges. These women are either single parents, have children who have dropped out of primary school, or are among the poorest women in the country. DANF strongly believes their facts are correct and accurate as presented.
• Three selected projects have “no string attach”. DANF has no prior information or relationship with these borrowers. Our decisions are solely based on their presented facts on Kiva's website. DANF is solely responsible for these defaulted loans if it occurs.
• Three projects are reviewed and presented on Kiva who is DANF strategic partner
• DANF lend USD 300 to three projects in November 2016. Once USD 300 repay in full, DANF will donate this total repayment to Kiva organization, World Vision or Plan International
